Rocker Eyes

These Rock Star Eyes were both created using Bare Escentuals Rocker Eye Kit.

A soft, romantic rocker girl look & a super sexy rock star look using the exact same eye makeup in two very different ways.

This first look was a softer look. Smokey Eye and light pink lip. A great classic combo for a night out.

This second look was inspired by a sultry Kim Kardashian photo shoot where the emphasis is all about the rock star eyes!

Luminous Skin

Spring and Summer call for luminous, bright, youthful, dewy skin.

I used this Sephora Spring Trend Report as inspiration for my glowing skin.

Great looking skin starts with a great skin care routine. I use amazing products everyday to maintain a healthy, youthful vibrance. I will do a video tutorial soon on my skin care routine to show you the details of how I take care of my crazy oily skin!

I wanted to put the focus on fabulous skin so for these pics I used very natural, soft eye and lip colors.

For this Luminous Skin look I used all Bare Mineral Products. Minerals have amazing light refracting abilities and can give anyone a radiant glow when used properly.

Bare Minerals Products:

Face:
Prime Time Foundation Primer
Multi-Tasking Concealer - Summer Bisque
Foundation - Medium Tan
Tinted Mineral Veil

Cheeks:
Clear Radiance
Faux Tan

Eyeshadow:
Vanilla Sugar - highlighter below brow & corner of eye
Peach Puff - All over lid
Soft Focus - Crease

Eyeliner:
Big & Bright Eyeliner - Espresso

Lashes:
Eyelash Extensions

Lips:
Buxom Lips - Amber

TIPS & TRICKS:
Mineral makeup can get messy so save your counters and put down a paper towel first!

Synthetic fiber makeup brushes are best for mineral makeup because they pick up the loose mineral powders waaaaay better then natural hair makeup brushes!

Loose minerals can be intimidating but practice makes perfect. So try & try again!

Sping Inspiration - Candy Eyes

This is a super fun Easter look!

Inspired by Sephora's Trend Report pictured below.

This Spring Time look is great on dark eyes and lighter skin.
For those of you with darker skin tones try to use a deeper shade of the colors cuz pastels used over the entire eyelid can look very ashy or harsh, the deeper tones warm it up a bit!

Makeup Forever Concealer
MAC Studio Fix Foundation
NARS Loose Powder

Cheeks:
NARS Blush - Deep Throat

MAC Pigment - Corn flower (Blue applied on center of lid)
MAC Eye Shadow - Digit (Corner of eye)
Makeup Forever Eyeshadow - #92 (in "v" on outer corner and in crease for definition
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner - Oil Slick (Deep grey with glitter <3 it!!!!)

Blue ---> Eye ---> Liner ---> Cool Tones ---> Cooler Effects

Bold Blue Eyeliner with extended wings on upper and lower lash lines

A Super Flirty Sexy Spring look for my daring GLAM GIRLS ;)

Here's a close up shot of the blue wings. See below for details on products used!

Products used on my eyes:

MAC Paint Pot - Painterly (I like this as a base it makes for fab long wear liner)

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lashliner - Blue Velvet (I am in LOVE with this new item and will do a tutorial soon because I think it can be a bit intimidating for first time users)

Sephora Eye Glitter - Opal (This is used in the center of the wings on the outer corners of the eye and inner eye corner down to lower lash line)

NARS Multiple - Copacabana (Used as a highlighter below the brow and on lid area)

Love & Beauty Mascara - Deep Blue (Got this at Forever 21 for $3.00 and I hate it my lashes normally look full and fabulous and instead they look sparse and thin. BOO.)

I can't stress enough the idea of looking BEYOND the beauty counter for your products and tools. There are amazing brushes all over for much cheaper than your department store or Sephora. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Michael's (the craft store) for pretty good quality brushes that are WAAAAYYY affordable. The Loew-Cornell brush pictured above was less than $5.00 at Michael's and it works great!

Glam it up with GOLD Shadow

Hello Gorgeous!! So here is a black and gold look for all you Glam Girls :)

Step by step guide to...Glam it up with Gold Eyeshadow!!

1.Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion to entire eye area (from lashline to brow)

2.Curl your eyelashes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my 24k gold Shu U. curler seriously LOVE it

3.Using a brush similar to MAC #252 apply MAC Pigment in Vanilla to the entire eye area. This is a fabulous gold shimmer that will act as your base color

4.Next use the MAC Notoriety Quad to define the shape you are going for. In my pics above I wanted to playup my almond shaped eyes. I accomplished this by using the two lighter shades near the corner nearest my nose and the two darker shades near the end of my eye.

5.I am obsessed with anything that sparkles so I chose True Gold Eyeshadow by Bare Minerals. I pat this shade onto the center of my lid from my lashline right beneath the crease using MAC brush #259. This is an awesome gold the closest I have ever seen to the actual color of gold, not too much yellow...its perfect!

6. I used Mac E/S in Carbon to smokeout the corner of my eye. I used MAC brush #222 to define an outer "V" shape. Then making small circles begining at the corner of my eye I worked in towards the center. I have found the best way in creating a smokey eye look is to always start with less shadow on your brush. Once you have committed to the shadow placement you can intensify the color as you see fit.

7.Use your fav black eyeliner to rim the entire eye top and bottom. I used Urban Decay 24/7 in Zero cuz it is awesome. Glides on smoothly and has tremendous staying power! So here is a trick: I use MAC brush #219 to diffuse the liner and "set" the liner using more MAC Carbon E/S. I do this cuz my skin is crazy oily and it lasts ALL day when I do :)

8.Finally give your lashes some lovin. Either apply your falsies and go over with liner. Or do what I normally do and apply 3 GENEROUS coats of mascara. I've been using Loreal Collagen mascara lately and I like it! Gives my lashes a bit of va-va-voom.
